Check of the mechanical resistance of thermal breakers

In order to assist SCHÖCK in the approval of the renewal of the Technical Notice of their thermal breakers, the mission of Sixense necs consists in justifying their mechanical resistance under the concomitant action of various loads.

• Severity
• Climatically induced thermal expansion
• Delayed deformation of reinforced concrete (hydration shrinkage and desiccation)
• Wind
• Earthquake (only in the case of external insulation).

The purpose of this is to renew the Technical Notice to guarantee the use of SCHÖCK products in seismic zones in mainland France.
